    Iraq and Saudi Arabia Foreign Ministers meet in Munich

    Iraq’s Foreign Minister Fouad Hussein and Saudi Foreign Minister Prince Faisal bin Farhan met on the sidelines of the recently concluded Munich Security Conference in Munich, Germany. Discussions took place between the two sides regarding ways to further enhance bilateral cooperation between Iraq and Saudi Arabia. Saudi Arabia’s Foreign Minister stressed the importance of Iraq’s stability and its role as a leader in the Middle East region.

    Iraq and Saudi Arabia Foreign Ministers meet in Munich

    The 58th Munich Security Conference (MSC) took place in Munich from February 18 to 20, 2022 at its traditional venue, the Hotel Bayerischer Hof. Since the COVID-19 pandemic, the 2022 MSC has maintained its traditional format but has had a smaller number of media representatives, attendees, and delegations in comparison to previous years.
